AKG, dbx, JBL, Kurzweil, Nord, ROLI, Soundcraft and SSL products nominated in Sound On Sound Awards 2016

Voting is now open for the annual SOS Awards and a total of 12 products across the Sound Technology portfolio are nominated.

• The dbx 676 tube mic channel strip is nominated in the “Effects & Processing Hardware” category.
• The SSL Nucleus is nominated in the “Mixing Controllers” category.
• The ROLI Seaboard GRAND is nominated in the “Hardware Controller” category.
• In the “Keyboard/Synth” category both the Nord Lead A1 and Kurzweil Artis are nominated.
• The AKG C12VR is nominated in the “Microphone” category.
• The SSL XL-Desk is nominated in the “Mixer” category.
• The AKG K812s are nominated in the “Headphones” category.
• And finally we have four nominations in the “Live Sound Product” category with the AKG DMS Tetrad Digital wireless system, dbx DriveRack PA2, JBL EON612 portable loudspeaker and Soundcraft Ui16 digital remote mixer all nominated.

Voting will take place through to the end of November, with the results being announced in time for the Winter NAMM show in January (USA) where the awards will be handed over to the lucky winners. Everyone casting a vote in the SOS Awards will be automatically entered into the 2016 giveaway, with a chance to win an array of premium mics from AKG worth £10,000!
