TechRadar Gives 5 Star Review for the New Austrian Audio Hi-X20 Headphones
The latest instalment to the Austrian Audio headphone range, the Hi-X20, has secured a 5 star review in its latest review undertaken by TechRadar.

The reviewer found there was little to be disappointed with with the performance and design of the Hi-X20, especially when it came to the quality of sound that the headphones produce, stating ‘when it comes to ‘performance’, the Hi-X20 are all business. From detail retrieval to dynamics, and soundstaging to tonal balance, they’re a confident and very accomplished listen.’
In terms of the build quality of the headphones and comfort, the reviewer notes ‘thanks to their 255g weight and some judicious clamping force, the whole experience of wearing the Hi-X20 is comfortable. There’s plenty of headband adjustment available, and the Austrian Audio fold plenty small enough to fit into the small, soft bag they’re supplied with.’
The overall verdict for the Hi-X20 was a 5 star performance with a verdict of ‘The Austrian Audio Hi-X20 are more of the same from a company with an extraordinarily impressive strike-rate where affordable over-ear headphones are concerned. Unless you’re preoccupied with low-frequency wallop, there isn’t an aspect of the Hi-X20 sound that will underwhelm.’
