Martin Release Firmware Update 2.2.0 for MAC Ultra Wash and Performance

Martin Professional have announced the release of the Firmware Update 2.2.0 for the MAC Ultra Wash and Performance fixtures, which is available to download via the Martin Companion app.

The update brings the following improvements and new features.

MAC Ultra Performance:

New Features

• New Framing behavior with LEGACY mode implemented as a option to the STANDARD mode used from Firmware 1.0.0.
• LEGACY limits framing blades to maximum 50% deployment at maximum DMX value. The corners of angled blades are also limited to maximum 50% deployment.
• STANDARD uses an algorithm which designates primary and secondary framing blades. Secondary blades must always make room for primary blades. Priority is given to angled blades.

Improvements and Bugfixes

• Remove forced “Gobo CT correction OFF” for all FXs which isn’t animotion FXs.
• Fixed an issue with the Pan/Tilt where the position was occasionally off by one step.
• Fixed an error with the Pan/Tilt where the reset command could cause a loss of power to the Pan/Tilt motors at a specific DMX position.
