Hi-Fi Choice Recommends the New Hi-X20 Headphones from Austrian Audio
Hi-Fi Choice have recently produced a review of the Austrian Audio Hi-X20 headphones for the January edition of their magazine, resulting the headphones being given the ‘Hi-Fi Choice Recommeneded’ accolade.

As always, the Hi-X20’s receive favourable feedback for their comfort and build quality, with the reviewer noting the metal hinges adding some sturdiness to the design for times when you’re on the move and also mentioning that the headphones do not ‘feel heavy or uncomfortable even when worn for long periods’.
When it comes to the sound quality the Hi-X20 once again impressed with the first listen of piano notes providing ‘crisp and clear’ sound but ‘also catches the contrast as the bass drum rumbles underneath.’ With the reviewer listening to a real mix of audio styles they found the Hi-X20 could provide a lot of intricate detail and and could reveal all the texture from the harmonies of a choir, whilst easily taking on ‘the tracks clashing sounds in its stride’ for a ‘country-rock-meets-EDM’ style number.
Overall, the Hi-X20’s receive a 4.5*, with a 5* for value for money and the reviewer concludes with ‘it’s an admirable performance from a headphone costing just £120…the Hi-X20 genuinely delivers on Austrian Audio’s promise of providing high-quality sound at a low-budget price.’
