SoundTech at GearExpo 2026

GearExpo 2026 is officially underway at the University of Westminster!

The Sound Technology team has been on site with Source Distribution and HHB Communications, getting everything in place and the doors are now open.
We’ll have electronic drums from EFNOTE, Crumar keys, Modal Electronics, Gemini DJ performance gear, the new JBL Audio BandBox Solo and Trio, and a HARMAN International area covering AKG, Soundcraft and JBL Professional.

There’s plenty to try from the HARMAN International brands at GearExpo UK today, from studio microphones to mixing, portable PA and studio monitoring.  The main focus in the studio space is the new AKG C-Series, a fresh range of professional condenser microphones set up to try at GearExpo. The C104 large-diaphragm condenser, multi-pattern C114 and C151 small-diaphragm pencil condenser are all ready to hear, so you can compare how they handle vocals and acoustic sources.

Soundcraft consoles are also set up for hands-on mixing workflows, with JBL Professional portable PA and studio monitors ready to hear in the room.

Crumar is launching its new Echo Series pedals at the show, with Echoplay, Varispeed, Cosmic Echo and Doubleback all set up to try. The DK61 waterfall MIDI controller is also here, giving players a hands-on look at Crumar’s keyboard range.

For drummers, the EFNOTE 7 electronic kit is set up and ready to play, combining full-size birch shells with multi-zone triggering for a more acoustic-style playing experience.

Gemini is also set up with a range of home production and music creation kit, with mixers, monitors and keyboards ready to try.

Modal Electronics is also showing the UK debut of Element One, a performance-focused synth built for direct, hands-on control.
