Sound Technology is very pleased to announce distribution of Crumar Keyboards effective immediately.

Crumar is a legendary Italian brand with deep innovative roots, stretching back to 1971 when Mario Crucianelli left Elka and founded CRUMAR together with his partner F. Marchetti. The name CRUMAR comes from the fusion of their surnames: CRUcianelli and MARchetti.

The production of musical instruments by Crumar has its core in home organs, which were very popular in the 1970s. Later, Stage organs like the “Organizer” series, the “DS2” synthesiser (with digitally controlled oscillators), and performance keyboards such as the “Orchestrator,” “Performer,” “Trilogy,” and “Composer” were found on the stages of the most famous musicians of the 1970s. Crumar also produced an analog synthesiser in collaboration with Bob Moog: the very rare and renowned “Spirit.”

A pioneer of physical modelling, first with the Crumar MOJO organ and then with the Crumar SEVEN, the company has a strong focus on technological innovation, including the development of an automated system for sampling musical instruments, with hardware and software entirely produced in-house by Crumar and Genuine Soundware.
