Back by popular demand: Larrivée reintroduces 02 Series acoustic guitars for 2017

The Larrivée 02 Series is your entry point into Larrivée's stunning acoustic guitar range.  Built in the same Californian factory as the rest of the Larrivée product catalogue, the 02 Series are exquisitely constructed with solid Canadian Sitka Spruce tops and solid African Sapele back and sides.

The -02 offers the same hand-build processes and solid wood construction as our standard line.  With its pro-sound solid sitka spruce top, the resonance and balanced sonic qualities of the -02 will only improve with age - Jean Larrivée

Now with Larrivée's Scalloped Parabollic Austrian Spruce top bracing, and a single-piece rather than 3-piece neck, the 2017 versions represent even greater value for money, starting at just £999.

The impressive specifications of the -02 Series also includes, Canadian Maple body binding, multi-line sound hole rosette with Canadian maple, Ebony fingerboard, Ebony bridge and traditional Larrivée tortoise-style pickguard. The nut and saddle are bone.

...what Larrivée has over both Taylor and Martin is an all-wood specification, at a price neither of the big boys can quite match. To our eyes and ears, it seems more 'finished', too. In short, it's a lot of guitar for the money - Guitarist Magazine

These inviting and inspirational acoustic guitars are available in two body shapes - Parlour (P-02) and Orchestra (OM-02).  Both models are also available as an electro-acoustic option with Shadow Nanoflex pickup (P-02E and OM-02E).  All -02 models also ship with a Larrivée hard-shell case.

Their can be little doubt that the OM-02E is a spectacularly good guitar for the money.  This guitar is deliriously close to perfection. The OM-02E remains a stellar instrument and one that fingerstyle players in particular absolutely must try out. You won't regret it - Acoustic Magazine.
