The first additions to the new Synth Piano category in Nord’s freely downloadable Nord Piano Library are two classic sounds from the legendary DX synthesizer, namely Full Tines and Rubba Roads.
These iconic synth pianos are incredibly expressive and we've really treated them as we do with acoustic instruments to capture their dynamic ranges. The Full Tines has a brillant, rich character and was one of the defining sounds in popular music during the 80's and 90's. The Rubba Roads is a more mellow type of sound that shares many sound characteristics with old vintage electric pianos.
The Nord Piano Library is compatible with the Nord Electro 3/4/5, Nord Stage/EX/2/2 EX and Nord Piano 1/2.
