UK singing sensation Duffy, has been using the TL Audio 5051 Tube Voice Processor for her vocal on her current UK, US and European tour. The tour promotes Duffy's debut album 'Rockferry' which went in at number one, achieving simultaneous top spots in both the UK album and single charts with the track "Mercy".

Duffy's Monitor Engineer, Nikoma, comments, "She needed something to warm up her vocals and give a top sound, plus Duffy is VERY particular about her on stage sound. It needed to be warm, smooth and rich all at the same time, TL Audio seemed the obvious choice for me!"

The 5051 provides the perfect vocal front end by offering a combined preamp, compressor, equaliser and noise gate all in one easy-to-use package. The 5051's warmth comes from no fewer than six valve stages, supplied by three twin triode ECC83/12AX7A valves running from a stabilised 150V DC power supply. One valve stage is located in the preamp, one in the compressor gain control circuit, and four in the equaliser section. The 5051 has an RRP of just £500 + VAT.

With many shows already sold out, tickets are going fast for the remaining dates of this tour - although expect to see Duffy at various festivals this summer.
