Two new UK acts added to Randall Artist Roster
13th October '09

Two new UK acts have been added to the Randall Artist Roster.  Introducing Thirteenth Sign and Hexagram.

Andy Berycz, Guitarist for Thirteenth Sign

Thirteenth Sign

Going by the moniker of “Skeletal Embrace” this East Anglian 5-piece was formed in 1998 with influences from Death Metal, Thrash and more traditional Heavy Metal act’s. By 2005 it was clear that the bands direction of writing and ferocious style needed a more suitable name, and in late 2005 the band changed their name to Thirteenth Sign.

To this day, Thirteenth Sign progress their style even further, pushing their collective musical talents forward, continuing to blur the borders of the extreme influences that give them their individual sound.

After a number of self financed releases and support slots for metal legends such as Napalm Death, Mendeed, Vomitory, and Anaal Nathraak to name but a few the bands popularity had grown and in April 2008 the band were signed to Australia's leading Heavy Metal label, Battlegod Productions.

Their debut album 'Oracles of Armageddon' features 9 blistering tracks and is available now.

Guitarist Andy Berycz is currently using the Randall RM100 head in conjunction with a Randall RA412XL cab.  Andy’s choice of Modules are the Blackface module and two Ultra XL’s.

Aaron Miller, Guitarist for Hexagram

Hexagram

Back in 2003 seeking to scratch that insatiable itch, Aaron Miller started writing music outside of the scope of the bands he had been playing with. There was somehow more. As time passed a style was defined and Hexagram was born.

In 2006 the trio entered Total Rock Radio’s ‘Best Heavy Metal Band’ competition and won the opportunity to play the Bloodstock open air festival with the likes of Testament, Lacuna Coil, Dark Tranquillity and Arch Enemy. Spurred on by the reaction from live audiences, the band also picked up an Express FM Golden Plectrum Award.

Now, fully charged and more powerful than ever, Hexagram delivers a convincing ‘in yer face’ and relentless live show, which in 2009 has already taken them from their native metal venue, the Wedgewood Rooms in Portsmouth into London’s metal scene, to a prime slot at the UK metal extravaganza, Hammerfest, in North Wales.

Hexagram is now well and truly showing up on the metal radar everywhere, with metal radio embracing the band and enquiries coming in from all over the World.

Their debut album ‘Rhymes For the Hated’ is available now.  http://www.hexagrammusic.com
