400W Valve Dynamic Head

Developed for the guitarist who likes multiple tone shaping options, the highly complex V2 can basically produce any tone you want utilizing a full tube preamp, as well as a classic Randall solid-state preamp. Holding true to our hi-gain roots, we’ve pushed the boundaries of modern design which has resulted in this highly advanced new take on hybrid guitar amplification.

A revolutionary new Tube driven Mosfet power section called “Valve-Dynamic™" powers the V2 with so much reaction and feel that you would swear it was full set of power tubes driving the amp. This 12AT7 driven power circuit not only has the feel, but also an accurate frequency response found only in a full tube power section.

Valve DynamicTM is a revolution in guitar amplification that emulates the tone and response of a full tube power amp. 

A new design power amp section, Valve-Dynamic combines a tube with solid-stage output stage. A single 12AT7 tube drives stage 1 & 2 of a 3 stage power amp, providing natural compression and a softer tube feel typically found only in full power tube sections.  The 12AT7 is combined with multiple MOSFET output transistors that provide a majority of the power and headroom needed without hard clipping, which results in the amp sounding pure and natural at very high volumes.  Valve-Dynamic also includes a special preset EQ circuit which emulates the frequency response of a full tube power amp.

The Valve-Dynamic circuit features in the V2, T2 and all G3 amplifiers.
