- Nord Wave wins best hardware synthesizer -

Furthering its reputation as manufacturers of consistently high quality products, Nord is celebrating nominations in three separate categories and the award for best hardware synthesizer at this year's prestigious Musikmesse International Press Awards (m.i.p.a.) . Given that the Nord range includes just five product series, this is regarded as quite some success for the Swedish company whose keyboards are hand-built in its Stockholm factory.

Seen as the "Grammy" of the Musical Instrument / Pro Audio industry, and now in its 10th year, the Musikmesse International Press Award brings together more than 100 magazines from all over the world to vote on the best products in more than 40 categories.

With just three nominees in each category, the recently released Nord Stage EX was nominated as Best Stage Piano, the Nord C1 as Best Organ / Portable Keyboard, while the Nord Wave won the award as Best Synthesizer Hardware.
