"Where else will you get a refined tonewheel sound, a Vox Continental, a Farfisa plus a fully blown Baroque pipe organ in one instrument and created to such high standards?"

Church on Sunday mornings, clubs on Saturday nights. The new Nord C2 Organ plays both places just right. With the introduction of the Nord C2, Nord have raised the performance bar even further with the addition of a baroque pipe organ section - this is the organ for others to compare against. Keyboard Player magazine have the first review and discover that "this is more than your average upgrade".
"…(the C2) makes really significant steps forward on several fronts which could take the Nord C2 into quite a different league."
"The major new feature on the C2 is the addition of quite a substantial pipe organ section. Unlike the drawbar and electronic organs, the sounds for the pipe organ are derived from samples as opposed to the virtual synthesis used for the other organs. As you will see, it is also no run-of-the-mill pipe organ".
"Outwardly it looks the same as the C1 but on the inside almost every area has been improved and upgraded. This is particularly true with the drawbar organ sounds, rotary speaker simulation and the key click effect. This is immediately apparent when the instrument is fired up, straight from its box. The main default sound is a wonderfully satisfying ‘gutsy’ drawbar sound with a nice spitting keyclick and warm depth to the tone. This has a much better ‘feel’ about it and is a real pleasure to play".
"The next default sound is the all new Pipe Organ. This is very distinctive and is closely modeled on a Baroque pipe organ, which would have been similar to that played by J.S. Bach…It was certainly not a sound that I expected from a Nord keyboard but this pipe organ comes right up to the standard that the name Nord has come to represent".
"Where else will you get a refined tonewheel sound, a Vox Continental, a Farfisa plus a fully blown Baroque pipe organ in one instrument and created to such high standards? Add the pedals, keyboard stand and music stand and the stage-struck Nord is fit for both home and church. Full marks, particularly, to the C2’s highly accurate pipe organ section on making that leap. Whilst it may be unlikely that one will fully utilise all of these sounds and functions (with notable exception of session players), they do give the C2 a strong and deserved appeal to a wider public".
