"If only all single-cuts were as good as this".
Larrivee's electric guitar, the RS4 receives its first review in the January issue of Guitarist magazine and is awarded the magazine's prestigious Guitarist Choice Award. This the third of three 'Guitarist' Larrivee reviews to see the award with the brand now receiving four in total.
Larrivee's goal with the RS4 was not to create a whole line of guitars - only one - and then to take this one instrument and perfect it. Larrivee made this new instrument reach its maximum potential through its excellence in craftsmanship and superior hardware.
"The construction style suggests a certain sonic outcome and that's pretty much what you get: a lovely, old school, quite delicate-sounding single-cut that really roars when shown the right amp".
"From cleaner softer jazz through to Slash-esque soloing, this is a great guitar that will constantly surprise you".

"...a superbly conceived and executed vintage-referenced design. Very hard to put down".
