"With its beautiful timbers, maple body bindings and tastefully understated appointments, the Larrivee is a veritable feast for the eyes".

This month's Guitar Buyer Magazine includes an impressive review of one of the most popular Larrivee models, the OM-09. Most importantly the Larrivee receives a 4.5 out of 5 rating with the magazines 'gold stars' being awarded to the guitars 'elegantly understated looks, beautifully executed build using premium quality materials, and lovely fingerpicked tones'.
The Larrivee OM-09 is one of five models/shapes that make up the 09 Rosewood Artist Series with all five being available in various 'electro' options. The 09 series guitars all feature a Solid Canadian Sitka Spruce Top, Solid Indian Rosewood back and sides, maple body binding and a single piece mahogany neck.
"The Larrivee OM-09 arrived strung with a set of light-gauge D'addario EXP strings and set up with a low, easy-playing action. The combination of an impeccable fret job, an expertly shaped TUSQ nut and a realistic bridge saddle height provides accurate intonation and a sound mercifully free of buzzes and rattles".
"In use, the guitar has a distinctive voice with a tightly focused bottom end - a consequence no doubt of its dreadnought-like 25.5-inch scale length - a clearly defined mid-range and trebles that are bright and clear...it possesses excellent string-to-string balance and powerful projection".
"...we reckon there are many guitarists out there who will fall in love with its delicate, almost classical vibe".
The Larrivee OM-09 is available now at £1999 RRP.
