ARTISTS ON TOUR WITH FISHMAN PRODUCTS - FROM AMPS TO AURAS

Fishman acoustic amplification products, from pickups, through Aura imaging pedals, to acoustic amplifiers are being used on tour by some of the highest profile artists. Fishman's artist relations guru Larry Dalton reports on some recent stories.
Mario Guini, guitarist for the J Lo / Mark Anthony world tour has been using two Fishman Loudbox Performer amplifiers for his acoustic sound. "The guitar techs and front of house engineer were all extremely happy with the amps sound and volume." says Larry Dalton.
While on tour with Velvet Revolver, Slash has been using a Fishman Aura Imaging pedal to improve the tone of his acoustic double neck.
Jethro Tull have been performing with Fishman-equipped guitars and bouzoukis. Long time Fishman artists Ian Anderson and Martin Barre also pointed out their Fishman-equipped string section.
Alicia Keys' guitar player Jeff Gitelman is using a Fishman Power Bridge to move seemlessly between acoustic parts and crunchy electric tones.
Dave Matthews and Tim Reynolds’ CD "Live at Radio City Music Hall" has chalking up incredible sales and solid reviews. Dave and Tim’s guitars go through Aura Imaging pedals and all of the guitars have Fishman pickups on board.
Finally, Fishman was thrilled to contribute to the Led Zeppelin reunion at London’s O2 Arena. Drummer Jason Bonham requested Fishman ADT drum triggers for the performance. Although Fishman no longer make that product, conversations with front of house sound mixer Mick Hughes (Metallica) revealed his interest in using the triggers to open and close noise gates on the drums for a cleaner, high-volume drum mix. "We custom-built several triggers in record time and are proud to be some small part of rock and roll history." says Larry.
