The following list of FAQs provide the answers to many of the common support questions, without having to contact us or return your unit to us. If you cannot find the answer to your query here, please use the Support Enquiry Form.
Power Supplies
DigiTech power supplies are available to purchase from your DigiTech retailer, or directly from us via our webshop. If you do not know the model number you need, it can be found here.
Some DigiTech power supplies have unusual outputs. We recommend that you only use supplied DigiTech power supplies to obtain optimum performance and reduce the risk of damaging your unit.

General FAQs
I want to buy some spare parts for my product, I don't have an account with you, can I still purchase these items from you?
-Yes, we are able to supply spares for all the products we sell on a mail order basis, please call 01462 480000 and ask for our spares dept. We accept most major credit/debit cards
My unit has failed, if I send it in for repair can you provide me with an estimate before undertaking any work?
-Yes we can provide an estimate and usually we do not make a charge for this. The only costs you will need to meet are for the carriage to and from us.
My unit has failed, can you provide me with a verbal/written estimate without me having to send it in?
-Unfortunately no, in order for us to make an accurate estimate we have to inspect the unit ourselves.
Do you have any authorised service centres in my area?
-Unfortunately we do not have any other service centres or approved repairers. We are authorised by the manufacturers of the products we distribute and offer full service facilities at very competitive prices.
I want to send my unit in for repair, what is the correct procedure?
-Please call 01462 480000 and request a returns number before sending in your unit, any member of staff should be able to help you with this. It is imperative that you do this as items arriving without this number may be refused and returned to you un-repaired.

RP80, RP100, Whammy, All GNX products and all FX units with an expression pedal
The expression pedal has stopped working or doesn't function over the full range of movement, is my unit faulty?
Possibly not, before contacting us you may want to try recalibrating the pedal as this is usually all that is required. Information regarding this procedure is outlined in your users manual.
X-series pedals when using with a battery
My pedal functions for a short period of time and then suddenly stops working.
The LED is lit on my pedal and won't switch off, also I can't hear any processed signal.
My pedal works for a while, then makes an crackling noise and stops working.
-Try replacing the battery with a good quality alkaline battery, then try the unit again. Please be aware that you can only expect up to 4 hours of continuous use when using an alkaline battery.
