“In typical Digitech style the JamMan Solo feels very focused and well thought through and for such an assuming little pedal it packs a very impressive punch”.

The latest edition to Digitech’s hugely successful JamMan line of products, the JamMan Solo, gets its first review in this month’s Play Music Pickup Magazine.
The new JamMan Solo Looper/Phrase Sampler has the ability to store over 35 minutes of CD-quality loops in 99 internal memories as well as having an SD memory card expansion slot giving you the ability to store over 16 hours (with an optional 8GB or higher SDHC memory card) of material in an additional 99 slots.
The JamMan Solo also features USB connectivity and will sync to DigiTech’s free JamManager™ software that organises and saves your JamMan Solo’s loops to PC or Mac. JamManager also lets you quickly create custom JamLists to take to your gig.
“Loops are great fun to work with and the Digitech JamMan Solo offers a very easy way for creative musicians to get stuck into the whole looping vibe. In typical Digitech style the JamMan Solo feels very focused and well thought through and for such an assuming little pedal it packs a very impressive punch”.
“You get the sense that armed with one of these and a decent set of backing tracks – either original material or prerecorded – you have a potentially stunning and highly portable setup for solo performing or even teaching”.
“As a teaching/practice tool it feels very quick and easy to use and is certainly less unwieldy than a laptop. JamMan Solo’s clever balance of sophisticated functions, compact size and user-friendliness confirms its value for live performance too”.
To read the full review, pick up the April Issue of Play Music Pickup Magazine (Issue 85). The Digitech JamMan Solo is available now at £223.25 RRP.
